I must admit, I enjoyed this interview. I've always wanted to get to know a bit more about our maker. Like for instance, just as the interviewer asked NF about his resources of knowledge. I always assumed maybe he went to an actual school.

And for this, I really respect NF because just like a lot of other people(including myself), I read all that I can. I've been out of work for awhile now and have been learning day in and day out(4rm all sources)ever since. I Do Not Stop! It's a job, but it is so much fun. The more you learn, the more you earn.
It's funny how during my 1st year, I tried and did delve into everything(including piano) but, my brain wouldn't allow me to absorb everything. It was too much! 2nd year, learned more and went back to old notes and such, and now I can read and watch tutorials and really know what is being said. 2yr/4mo and I am still learning something new everyday...

I never signed up for Todaysbeats but, I purchased some of his videos awhile back. During my newbie days(1yr), I didn't like listening to him(Terrence) because he did talk a lot, and that was when I had just started out disciplining myself to stay put. Never finished his tutorials(HeHe).

All the up-and-coming producers that I have ran into in the streets(friends) do not read. I'm the only one who stays put and read and watch tutorials all that I can. I seem to be the only serious one(in my surrounding that is). I don't understand, because you think the love would draw you to want to learn all you can, so that you can compete with some of the best and to be one of the best.
They be making excuses like "I can't read". Please! They can read. There just so damn lazy and want people to just tell them everything that they worked so hard for. I don't knock it but, like NF says, it shows what kind of person you are.

Much Respect to NF and all of the WarBeats Fam. Love will never be lost here.

Pure beauty. What a great interview...I just came across Warbeats.com and after a quick review of the site i became very interested while already feeling a sense of connection in a way. Naturally, I needed to understand a lil bout the creator. I do not have to read anything else. In my opinion NFX is at true peace of mind with a balanced leveled outlook on life and in music. I can not stop the goose bumps pulsing. I'm very excited to be able to merge minds alike and create music with an energy from a positive platform that will open minds. As a seasoned musician and a fairly new Fl composer, words do not compare to the motivation I get from an open minded centered composer of any kind or level. The positive light NFX has in life that is made of music is an inspiration.

That is a really great and informative post. Keep it up!

Concerning your post about Sonic Producer. It helps beginners skip many of these points like music theory, until they become familiar with the whole thing, that's a really good thing about it.

PS I think this post's title should be " How easy it IS to make beats?" right?

Sonic Producer is good for complete beginners who want to get a feel for making beats.

However if you want to be a professional I advice you to get a software like Fl studio or reason and get familiar with it.
